BACKGROUND
A vibrant South Florida festival set in Miami, FL that celebrates the unconventional and eccentric. By embracing diverse perspectives and challenging the status quo, the fair showcases offbeat art installations and 'wacky' thematics throughout the fair.

It's a testament to letting the wackiness of youth come out to play during adult years.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Adults ages 18+ who are looking to reignite that childlike wackiness.

Of course, anyone is welcome to attend the Wack Fair, but it's primarily targeted at adults who still have that young-at-heart attitude.
TEXTURES & PATTERNS
Experimenting with different textures and patterns both vector and from real fabrics, allowed us to create unique characters and make these cartoon-like illustrations feel more grounded in reality.
We encourage diversity and there is a wild and diverse system in clothing and patterns. Taking these everyday patterns and incorporating them within cartoon characters allows viewers to see themselves in these characters while also being visually appealing.
FINAL NOTES
Combining elements of texture, color, and style can create a great sense of play within designing for this project. The sense of play should exist visually for the audience to see that not only is the intention playful, but the design work itself can be seen as playful.

Having intent behind a design makes the creation of said designs easier to make. While embracing the inner child and whimsical nature of the project, I learned how to have fun but to still create something that is clean and professional-presenting.
Probably the best way to describe the Wack Fair, 'a professionally wack event'.
