Art Director Kayley Ulett recruited me to design last-minute spreads in the final weeks before the magazine's publication. With limited time, I created the following layouts—my first foray into editorial design.

After my initial work with Eclectca, I was invited back to design additional spreads and create promotional flyers and social media content. This time, I had the opportunity to design the magazine’s cover, further shaping the visual identity of the issue.

ENTROPY

BACKGROUND
An innovative art collective and magazine based in Orlando, Florida. Founded by Grace Altmire in 2021, Eclectca provides a platform for local artists to showcase their work and identities.

ISSUE 05

2024

ANOMALY

OBJECTIVES
Designing spreads for each issue of Eclectca since 2023 as well as creating promotional materials such as flyers and social media content. Collaborating with other designers, photographers, creative directors, and more to create cohesive spreads for each theme/concept of the magazine.
FINAL NOTES
I'm grateful to Eclectca for giving me the experience to master type, layout, composition, and photo editing. Learning these skills have been fundamental to the work that I do as a designer.
